Summary:

The main goal of this portal is to promote the access of the Chilean citizens residing abroad to government services and information. It also:

promotes the modernization of the state administration in regard to the services that are provided to Chileans abroad;
encourages the organization of Chileans abroad to enhance their participation in the societies in which they are embedded;
generates an exchange of ideas regarding the exercise of civil, political, social and cultural rights;
encourages community support of Chileans abroad in maintaining their national cultural heritage; and
fosters dialogue between the country and its diaspora.
