Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Policy on Cooperation with Diaspora is the state-level framework policy prepared by a multi-sector working group chaired by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It was adopted by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 18 April 2017, and published in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina no. 38/17 in May 2017 in three official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina (i.e. Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian). This document is the first of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1996. The next step for the Council of Ministers of BiH is to prepare the Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Cooperation with her Diaspora and implement other activities envisaged by the Policy concerned. The Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in charge of coordinating a multi-sector WG which will draft the Strategy. Furthermore, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH is in charge of preparing annual reports for the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the implementation of the Policy concerned.
