
In order to materialize the role of the Diaspora as a pillar of the development of the country, the Diaspora Week was established by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The Diaspora Week is organized the last week of July of each year. The first one was organized in July 2014 and was very successful with regard to the themes developed and the personalities who took part in this event. The aim of Diaspora Week is to have dialogue on diaspora and development, in order to build opportunities for diaspora to play a role in promoting trade and foreign direct investment, creating businesses and encouraging entrepreneurship.
