The main objective of Pagesos Solidaris is to participate in the human, economic and social development of rural communities and to give these communities support to develop organizational structures. To this end the Foundation aims to:

• Receive and provide support and assistance to migrant workers arriving in Catalonia, Valencia and Mallorca to work temporarily in seasonal agricultural employment.
• Promote cooperation between rural communities and strengthen solidarity among farmers in different countries through the endorsement of fair trade and equitable trade relations.
• Promote the active participation of women in social, cultural, economic and political projects, particularly in rural areas.
