Summary:

The PRA/OSIM (Programme d'Appui aux Organisations de SolidaritÈ Internationale issues de l'Immigration) was founded in 2003 by FORIM and continues to support projects run by the diaspora in France. The PRA/OSIM is a national program for strengthening, supporting, co-financing and capitalizing on local development projects run by International Solidarity Organizations of immigrant origin (OSIM).

Main objectives:
- Strengthen the contribution of diasporas to the development of their countries of origin through improved access to resources (information, training, support).

- Co-finance local development projects carried out by OSIMs in countries of origin (and eligible under the OECD DAC).

- Highlight the effects of migration on the development of countries of origin, and in particular the contribution made by migrants through the valorization and capitalization of their practices.
