Summary:

The ILO has a tripartite governance system where representative workers' and employers' organizations decide along with governments; the decisions reflect the realities of the world of work. ILO has a two-fold intervention strategy: the employment and labour market side of migration warrants attention, as well as the protection of migrant workers and equality of treatment.
