My.Coop is a project of building capacity of cooperatives towards involving Syrian refugees and Jordanian farmers in agricultural value chains. The project promotes integration and participation of Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians in agricultural livelihood opportunities through enhancing capacities of eight ILO-network cooperatives in the governorates of Irbid and Mafraq in the northern Jordan.
A training programme on the management of agricultural cooperatives has also been developed in partnership with FAO, ILO and ITC-ILO. The My.COOP training package has been designed to enable existing and potential managers of agricultural cooperatives to identify and address major challenges that are specific to cooperatives in market-oriented agricultural development.
